Mayank is a research scientist at Sony AI with a focus on audio technologies, including singing voice conversion, automatic speech recognition, and audio watermarking. Before joining Sony AI, Mayank worked on audio source separation and text detection and recognition while earning his Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

My goal is to solve the ethical challenges currently faced in the machine learning domain on data privacy and misuse of deep fakes with technical innovations while pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve with generative models in the entertainment industry.
